The milk for its production comes from cows, which are fed not only with grass, but also with green fodder, which are plants grown for feed purposes such as corn, sunflowers, millet, sugar cane and others. Grana contains double-milked milk, which is left to stand for several hours and then the cream formed is partially removed from it, so that the cheese is semi-fat and contains 32% fat. It then matures at an ambient temperature of 15-22 Degree C in large round molds that weigh 24-40kg for 9-16 months.
